Tamburica is a stringed instrument, similar to the Russian balalajka, Ukrainian banduri, Italian mandolin, spanish guitar, and so on.

The primary instrument, called “tamburin”, came from the Persian area and it only had one string.
In 1847 Mr. Pajo Kolaric founded the tamburica orchestra.
